From March 16 to 19, 2024, Sun Young welcomed architects, hotel teams, contractors and project buyers to Booth C5035 at Xiamen International Stone Fair. The presentation connected material samples with recently completed hospitality and metro work, giving visitors a practical way to evaluate stone applications before specification.

With a 20-member booth-build and reception team on site, Sun Young arranged the display around one question international buyers regularly ask: how do individual stone selections perform when they become part of a hotel lobby, a guest-area interior, a façade package or a high-traffic transit environment?

Real Applications for Hotel and Transit Projects

The 2024 booth combined hospitality references with public-infrastructure details. Volakas White was presented as a bar-counter application, while Statuario White was shown through a coffee-table setting. Wall, flooring and exterior-cladding samples demonstrated how stone can move through a coordinated hotel scheme rather than sit as isolated slabs.

For transit work, the display introduced granite paving and tactile paving references from T220 MRT Great World Station in Singapore. These applications helped project teams discuss finish selection, pedestrian use, wayfinding requirements and the relationship between material appearance and an installation's working environment.

Completed Project References Buyers Could Discuss

The hospitality portion of the booth drew on completed project experience including Four Seasons Hotel, Amara Hotel Yangon, Fairmont Hotel and Ajman-Dubai hotel work. Instead of presenting a generic material board, the team used those references to discuss the practical coordination of wall cladding, flooring, furniture elements, bar tops and exterior stone details.

The Singapore T220 MRT Great World Station reference added a different project condition: public circulation. Buyers could compare hotel-led visual requirements with granite paving and tactile-path considerations for a metro station, then discuss the fabrication, finish and packing implications for their own drawings and schedules.

A Working Consultation Booth

The 20-person team covered booth installation, sample preparation, visitor reception and technical conversations throughout the four-day event. International visitors could inspect the display at their own pace and then move into focused discussions on stone selection, application suitability, fabrication scope, quality-control documentation and export coordination.

From Reference Project to Next Specification

For Sun Young, the purpose of Booth C5035 was not simply to list materials. It was to make completed hotel and transit applications easier to compare, so international project teams could move from an early material enquiry to a clearer specification conversation with context, references and practical next steps.
